Walter Beaver Memorial:

For those of you inquiring about memorials in honor of Joe's Dad,

a rodeo scholarship fund has been set up in his name.

Seems fitting for such a wonderful man and teacher who so loved the sport of rodeo and those

wanting to learn about it.

Memorials may be

sent to the:

Walter A. Beaver

Rodeo Scholarship Fund

2007:  A very special thanks to Daniel and Andrea Coomer for puting together the very first "Joe Beaver Roping School" in beautiful Nancy, Kentucky.   Andrea originally wrote inquiring about private roping lessons for her husband, Daniel for their anniversary:

"My husband, Daniel, is a lineman for the local electric company.  He works hard for them and even harder here at home for us.  He comes home after a long day at work and cares for our livestock, tends to the hay, helps his father with his chores, and still makes time to help our 11 year old daughter, Makayla, with her homework, play ball with our 2 year old son, Maddux, and push our 1 year old daughter, Reagan, in the swing.  He cares for not only our animals, but also helps out his friends by breaking their horse, hauling their cattle to market, or just checking on their livestock while they are out of town.  He does this all with a smile on his face and true love in his heart.  He never complains, instead he tends to see the beauty and deeper purpose in everything.  He is truly the most wonderful man I have ever met!  Our wedding anniversary is coming up and I believe he deserves something spectacular.  I can think of no better anniversary gift for my amazing husband than having the equally amazing Joe Beaver give him private roping lessons...."

Juan Maria demonstrates the perfect position and throw that won him the Tiedown Champ buckle!

Joe explains the mechanics of winning at the game of roping.

And of course, the most important lesson is "never take your eyes off the calf"...
...even if it does mean running over the instructor and his family.
(He's only doing what you said, Joe!)

Brody Beaver demonstrates the perfect flank and tie while his dad,
8-time World Champion, Joe Beaver looks on.  Joe's dad,
Walter Beaver would be so proud!

Joe and Brody Beaver demonstrate solid team roping runs.
